The Grace Core Academy is the training program preparing students to work with the Bridge's Grace Core Counseling program, The Lighthouse Mission, and other places throughout the community as chaplains, life coaches, and mentors.

Scholarships

Sponsorship Scholarships are needed to help cover tuition costs for students who are called to serve as chaplains and counselors but are unable to pay the full amount themselves.

The Mission

To train chaplains, counselors, life coaches, and mentors who are certified by the American Association of Christian Counselors and other national and local organizations

To provide trained chaplains and counselors to serve at The Bridge: Community Hope Center, the Lighthouse Mission, Support Officers and other places throughout our community, county, state, and nation

​To put together a fully trained crisis response team ready to serve when local crises arise

Course Information

Core Training spans three 8 -10 week terms. ​
Tuition: 
Standard pricing  $1,200 per core for the program.  
Light University online courses are offered at a Specialized Discount for all GC students.

Supervised Internship
250 hours minimum

Currently available with the Lighthouse Mission in Bellingham, WA and The Bridge at Birch Bay in Birch Bay, WA
This internship will provide hands-on opportunities for students to apply what they have been learning and gain experience and confidence in their counseling skills.
